Katie Mclendon, Intern

Hi, I'm Katie, a clinical therapy intern pursuing a Master’s in Social Work (MSW). I work with children ages 3 to 10 and utilize Child-Centered Play Therapy. I aim to offer personalized clinical support tailored to your child’s world through play. I believe the parents are the experts in their child’s world. Therefore, I aim to work alongside parents to ensure their children are receiving the best form of care suited for them. Ultimately, I wish to create an environment for the child that is judgment-free, empowering, and helpful in improving functioning. I look forward to the opportunity to be working with you and your child, for whoever is interested in working with me.
