Miller Overbeck, LMSW

Psychotherapist

Hi! I am so glad you're here. I am a client-centered therapist who primarily works with children, using an integrative and developmentally informed approach grounded in Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I also support adolescents and young adults as they navigate key developmental transitions. My work focuses on helping young clients who experience anxiety, depression, OCD, and perfectionism, with careful attention to how these challenges show up across emotional, behavioral, social, and academic domains.

Therapy is tailored to meet each client where they are developmentally, emotionally, and cognitively. I believe that children make sense of the world in unique ways at each stage of development, and I adapt interventions accordingly—using age-appropriate language, creative strategies, and skill-building tools that feel accessible and engaging. I work collaboratively with children and their caregivers to identify strategies that strengthen emotional regulation, resilience, and confidence, while supporting healthy development over time.

Clients and families can expect a peaceful, judgment-free environment where children feel safe to express themselves and be understood. My goal is for each child to feel valued and supported as they grow, while also empowering caregivers with insight and practical tools that extend beyond the therapy room. I strive to help young clients build a strong foundation for a life that feels more manageable, meaningful, and aligned with who they are becoming.

Miller is under clinical supervision and direction.
