Scott Lawrence, MS, APC, NCC

Psychotherapist

Finding balance in life is a struggle for us all, and I believe everyone can use a helping hand. My approach to therapy starts with creating a relationship and environment where clients feel safe, heard, and able to explore their own life and mind. After creating this therapeutic alliance, we can try specific treatments, techniques, and strategies that fit the client’s needs.

I have experience working with children, teens, and adults and in trauma, grief/loss, divorce, anxiety, anger management and emotional regulation, gender/sexual identity, and the overall stress of daily life, family, and work. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectical Behavioral, Narrative, Choice/Reality, and Existential-Humanistic therapies to help clients become the experts of their own lives, find the balance they need, and continue to grow and meet their goals.

Scott is under the supervision of Jamie Hall, MEd, LPC, BCC, CPCS and the direction of Ashley Skidmore, LCSW.
