I am a client-focused therapist who believes a strong partnership between the therapist and client is the key to success. My goal for each client is to facilitate the learning of new coping skills to result in a new way of living and a more satisfying and productive life for my clients. I have successfully facilitated life change with children, adolescents, and adults for over a decade.
I utilize a variety of treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral, Strengths Based, Narrative, Dialectical Behavioral, and Solution Focused perspectives to identify the needs of my clients, establish goals together, and reach a desired outcome. My specialities include managing anxiety and depression, emotional regulation in children and teens, and facilitating stress management for adults in high pressure professions.

Everyone struggles in life and has bumps in the road. My goal as a therapist is to create a warm and supportive relationship with my clients, so that we are able to bring out strengths from within them they have forgotten they had. My goal in therapy is to create open and trusting relationships with my clients to assist them in obtaining the goals and life that they want. I believe that these changes can occur by exploring the client’s life together to create change. I am a client centered, strength based therapist that utilizes Cognitive Behavioral and Solution Focused therapies. I work with individuals, couples, and families. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship issues, substance abuse and more.
Caroline Spillers, LAPC
I have always enjoyed helping others. This passion turned professional in 2011 when I received my Master’s in school counseling. I’ve worked in the Dekalb County School District for the past six years. This line of work has allowed me to see firsthand what our modern day student and child might deal with, as well as learn about our families needs and desires.
I believe in teaching clients skills that they can practice and make habits in order to be confident, productive and content. I utilize an eclectic therapeutic approach and draw from a collection of techniques and tools from therapies such as solution focused and person-centered. I enjoy using art therapy and mindfulness exercises as well as “thinking outside the box” to help clients. Most importantly, I create a comfortable, trusting, and positive environment to ensure an effective client-counselor relationship.

I work with my clients to create their own journey. I am a client-centered therapist working through a narrative lens. I have experience working with couples, adults, teens and children experiencing a variety of struggles including substance abuse, anxiety, depression, trauma, and gender identity. I am trained in Gottman therapy for couples levels 1 & 2, sand tray, play therapy, and substance abuse recovery.
I work with all my clients to identify and utilize their strengths to become empowered. My goal is to provide a relaxed yet solution-focused environment in which my clients feel comfortable sharing their story and forging a path to a more peaceful life.
